Why We Exist

In December 2020, two-year-old Awaab Ishak died from a respiratory condition caused by prolonged exposure to mould in his family's housing association flat. The coroner's report revealed systemic failures in how social landlords identified and responded to damp and mould hazards.

We founded DMS because we believed technology could—and should—prevent tragedies like this. Not with another generic monitoring system, but with a platform designed specifically for the regulatory reality facing UK social housing.

DMS Smart Monitor is purpose-built for Awaab's Law compliance, the Consumer Standards framework, and HHSRS evidence requirements. Every feature exists because housing providers told us they needed it.
